The Challenge

Fundraise $15,000

Raising $15,000 isn't a small task. Neither is going to school where there isn't a toilet, or maybe even when you go, it will collapse.

That's why our team of volunteers are committing their time and energy to cycle long distances.

In New Zealand, they'll be cycling throughout the South Island. In three weeks, they will cycle 1,500km's (1,000 miles) through sand, dirt trails and roads.

This year, Pete Crean is doing a solo ride, with no support vehicle. Occasionally some of our team will meet up with him to make sure he has enough food to carry for the next few days, but basically, he's on his own.

Where does my money go?

All of the money you raise as part of Pedal Against Poverty goes directly towards the work of BeyondWater. We build school toilets, install water tanks & guttering, dig deep bore wells, and give girls sanitary products. We work in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Sudan and the DRC.
